Since the partition of British India, political control over the region of Kashmir has been hotly disputed. I travelled to Srinagar, the Dal and Anchar Lakes and the Kashmir Valley in 2015 and photo-documented the stunning natural landscape, the seasonal nomads who live in the region and the Indian military camps stationed high in the mountains.
